A year after our first foray into exploding people, (see Rehab below), we upped our game with this rendition.
Created within a very short deadline we also cleaned up and enhanced many other shots throughout the entire promo. The explosion was animated in Maya with some FumeFX on the wide shot. Additional debris, smoke and particles were comped in After Effects using stock footage and particular. The cracking skin was composited with a combination of After Effects and Nuke.
